Name and Address

Objective: To stress the importance of learning numbers such as address and telephone number.

Can your kid give his name and address? This just reminded me of an incident  happened to me a few days ago with my kid. He decided to open the door and walk to the street butt naked with no shoes. A lady saw him on the street and brought him back home, assuming he lived in the condo with the door open. I was so terrified and embarrassed!  It made me think about of  how important it is to teach your kids these facts.  He could have gotten lost, and he can barely say his name. Usually only my husband and I can understand him. I will keep working hard on teaching him to say his name and where he lives, and not letting him run away 🙂

I printed his name and have him say each letter. Another good practice is to have them trace the letters to show their names, and place this paper in an appropriate spot.

We are missing an A!

Abraham starts with A

I purchased this alphabet at the dollar store. It turned out well for practicing the abc’s and making words.  I also have one with the numbers.
