Reviewing letter “B”

Objective: Review letter B, the sound and sign.

I was pretty excited to get this cute calendar in the mail today, I bought it from amazon if you wondered. Its going to be a great  way to start our class with learning each day of the week, date, months, weather and seasons.

Now to start our class!

This website is called ABC mouse.. I absolutely love it!  We pay for the subscription each year but its worth it.. There are tons of fun learning activities to do with your kids. Today we learned “The letter B song”.

Letter B is for Butterfly!

Today we did another dot marker B printable, it looks like he has been enjoy doing it.

Now into our craft!

It was time to go outside, stretch a bit and write the letter Bb with chalk.

Letter “B”

Objective: To learn the letter B and the sound.

We started by reading a book we borrowed from the library “The sound of the B” .

They have a series of these books for all of the alphabet letters, but we only found a few available. Good books by the way!

I found a pretty good video on you tube that teaches the sounds of the alphabet.

“B” is for bumblebee!!

My kid has been loving these paper word puppets that I have been creating for each letter.

We are also learning how to sign each word of the alphabet.

This is how you sign letter B!

This is a great physical activity!

We used toothpicks to poke holes along the letters.

You can hold up to the window afterwards to see light shinning through your letters.

Letter recognition: Circle the letter “B”

This is his least favorite thing to do.

My kids hates writing, but I still encourage him to do it by hold it up his hand and write the word.

Give the bee some stripes!

I actually made this playdough mat on PowerPoint a while ago, it’s not difficult to do.

Our last assignment was to trace the letter B with yellow gift tissue.

And done! 🙂
